About Us
Crossovers & Conversations is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that combines elite basketball training with meaningful health discussions, mentorship, and a deep commitment to community. We use the game as a platform to teach life lessons—helping young people build confidence, resilience, and strong character on and off the court.
Originally founded in Rochester, New York, we are now headquartered in Rochester, Minnesota. We strive to provide free basketball camps to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to discover their love of the game, regardless of background or income. Through interactive workshops, mentorship opportunities, and high-level coaching, we empower youth to grow not just as athletes, but as leaders in their communities.
Our Vision
To create a generation of hoopers who lead with character, thrive in community, and carry the lessons of the court into every area of life. We aim to make high-level basketball camps accessible to all and deliver impactful health education that empowers every young person—on and off the court.
“Thank you so much for doing this!! My son came home feeling so empowered and inspired. He said this was the best experience and said it was so so much fun! He raved about the coaches, how awesome and fun they were! [He] loved it. I’ve never heard him talk about sport activities this much. He thought it was really cool to learn CPR, being able to do it hands on. The entire team left an impression on him, even the camera man was awesome! 👏 ”
“Thank you for transforming these young peoples’ lives!! Keep doing what you do! We can’t wait for the next camp!”
